Pereybčre; this delightful little cove is midway on the coast road between Grand Bay and Cap Malheureux. The deep, clear water makes it one of the very best bathing places on the whole island. Recently renovated, La Cuvette beach is well worth a visit.Further up the coast, Choisy, one of the most popular beaches on the island, offering facilities for safe bathing, sailing, windsurfing and water-skiing; finally, the coastline curves into Grand Bay itself, the main centre for yachting, water-skiing, windsurfing and many other sports.
Sea Sports Grand Bay is now the main centre for yachting, water-skiing, wind surfing and other water sports. Tourist can experience water-skiing, windsurfing, yachting, sailing, kayak, pedalo, glass bottom boat, scuba diving, snorkelling, aqua gym, deep-sea fishing and catamaran cruises. There are tours proposed to visit the small islets round the island such as Ile au cerfs, Ile aux Aigrettes, Ile Plate. |
